With two late night television performances (on Letterman and Fallon) and a collaboration with Ghostface Killah already under her belt, Kandace Springs is certainly working hard to make a name for herself in the music world. Check out Springs and that big hair of hers in her latest video for "West Coast" from her self-titled debut EP.

In "West Coast," the Nashville native sings soulfully about a break up so bad that she has to move all the way across the country just to "gather [her] thoughts." In the video, Springs sits on stoops and fire escapes in bleak, grayscale scenes of New York, then halfway through, she ends up in vibrant sunny California in a red Corvette. It's a textbook tale about New York's gritty streets versus California's beautiful beaches, but Springs' jazzy vocals and the track's cool bass turn this classic story into a funky tune that's perfect for blasting in the car during your next cross-country road trip.
