Psych-pop princess Melody Prochet (A.K.A. Melody's Echo Chamber) has released a groovy new single called "Shirim." Listen above.

It's more of that dreamy, otherwordly pop we've come to expect after hearing her first album, produced by ex-beau Kevin Parker of Tame Impala. There's no denying that his genius has rubbed off, as there are some very Parker grooves happening on this track. This time, though, she's coming back all on her own, writing and producing her entire second release.

This track is a blend of '60s psychedelia and '70s disco, with glittery textures that will send your brain straight into space. It's funky enough to dance to and easygoing enough to serve as background music at your next get-together.

"Shirim" will be included on the unfinished second album, due out next spring. For more on Melody, check out her Zumic artist page.
