Eels' latest album, The Cautionary Tales Mark Oliver Everett, is full of bittersweet tracks, and the heartbreaking "Lockdown Hurricane" just got a video that serves as a true cautionary tale.
The clip follows an outlaw couple on the lam, changing their appearances, forging documents, and making love in a desert shack. Between the dramatic tropes, the stark transformations, and the passionate romance, it's a beautifully done video, and set to the wistful soundtrack of "Lockdown Hurricane," it makes for one hell of a tear-jerker. Watch the clip above, but there is violence and nudity, so it's definitely NSFW.
The Cautionary Tales Mark Oliver Everett came out in April of this year. You can purchase it via Amazon, or stream the whole thing right here at Zumic.
