LA indie rockers Foxygen dropped the crazy stage antics for this intimate performance live on KEXP. They played a few tunes from their next album, ...And Star Power, which is set to release on October 14th. Each song sounded better and more emotional than the last.
After the upcoming album's "Coulda Been My Love," the group talked with host Cheryl Waters about ...And Star Power. The group stated that the album was the most "cathartic and personal" album they've made, as well as a sort of "back-to-basics" record. It was recorded in their own Dream Star studios based out of Jonathan Rado's garage. The recording followed last year's accident where Sam France broke his leg on stage.
A little over a year has passed since the drama, and based on this performance, ...And Star Power already sounds like a great record. Check out the performance above, and for more music, videos and news, visit Foxygen's artist page here on Zumic!
